New pattern

This week I'm going to shake things up a little by challenging myself to a new pattern or block print that you haven't seen each day.  Starting with some houndstooth.  Coral red over salmon pink.  Has anyone else noticed that houndstooth looks a little like Batman?

Clearly I have been spending too much time alone in the studio.

In the South, deviled eggs seem omnipresent.  Especially in the summer time, next to potato salads and the like.  But when I was growing up, we made deviled eggs at Christmas time.
