This is one of those pieces that wants to be hung two different ways. The way it is above too see the chrysanthemum, or on it's side to show off the text.
I'll leave that totally up to you.

#1367 (sold)

This is going to be a week of extra fancy (elle)ements.  Pieces with several layers, true tiny abstract compositions.  This one is a combination of pale grey, cream through bone white, and yellow ochre.  And just for the record, most of these pieces look good hanging more than one way, so ignore the signature on the back, and hang them however you want.

#1295 (sold)

A lot of people say they don't understand abstract work.
But if this doesn't make you think of summertime, and hummingbirds, and stuff like that, or at least happy, I don't know how to help you.

Happy Friday

It's been a while since we've had a bit of a landscape, the original image for this piece came from one of my favorite little cities in the South of France.  Printed on rice paper, over a bright yellow background.

Ok, this is really late, but I'm making up for it, because they are red shoes.
Red shoes can make up for almost anything.
Really red on sort of an adobe tan kinda pinkish impossible to describe background.

#1179 (sold)

I was travelling home from a show in Tampa yesterday and didn't have a new (elle)ement ready to put up.  So I asked my facebook friends what they would like to see, and promised to look for good matches to their requests.
The first suggestion was anything that was "the most opposite of snow."
So if the latest cold snap is about to drive you out of your minds, here is the hottest sunrise/sunset thing I could find.  Deep red orange over a sunny yellow background.
Enjoy, and wear warm socks.
