The Instamatic, this was my grandmother's camera, I remember seeing this side of it fairly regularly as a child.

Sometimes I have to admit, I like a visual pun.  

And when shorten or lengthen comes at a point where the pattern stops short, I can't resist.

Charcoal on the simple yellowish color of the pattern paper.

Happy Monday!  This piece has such a feeling of order about it, and simplicity.  Two good things to have on a Monday.  Steel blue, baby blue, sand, and a gray with just an edge of purple to it.

A busy piece, with lots of texture.  Colors are gray, taupe, pale blue and charcoal.

The dark image on top is actually a bit of the reflector from the flash on the camera piece I did.

Today's piece is a combination of mid gray over the yellow ochre color of dress pattern tissue.  The spring green lays over top.  Reminiscent of a garden, for me anyway.
