The color is a little off on this image, the red octopus is over a pale almost peach background.  Totally different from the pale blue that is showing up on my monitor. Cameras can do some weird stuff.

I love this design, it fits together beautifully to make a repeat floral.  But this almost grey mauve over slate blue plays just fine on it's own.

A bit of the underside of an octopus, or some lovely ring patterns, depending on how you look at it.  Light grey over red.

A design that is so close cropped that it looks abstract.  But it's a piece of  a crown, that's the strip of ermine running along the bottom.  Black over the natural beige of the dress pattern it's printed on.
