The red ones are extra hard to photograph, but if you need a little pop of red to warm up a composition...this is it. Full on non apologetic, red. With roses too.

Somehow the phrase, "a megaphone is citrus colors" just seems odd. But that's pretty much what we have going on here. Have a great day!

Kinda a fancy one if you ask me...
Almost mauve, and stone over a translucent olive green.
Enjoy your weekend!

This is a very soft piece, a little softer than it looks here even. Mauve, cream, and a sage green. Have a great day, see you tomorrow!

I have to say, I'm kinda fond of this one.
Vibrant orange, green and yellow all somehow play nicely on a deep red background.

I hardly ever let the bright white of the canvas show through, but I did on this one. It has a really nice light crisp airy feeling to it. Yellow roses, tree branches and just a hint of celery green.
See you again tomorrow.

I'm back! And I thought I'd start the week off with a real stunner.
Pale grey over almost black. I have three weeks of little compositions lined up for you, so sit back and enjoy. See you back here tomorrow.

This is going to appeal to a Kodak fan somewhere.
The Instamatic, this was my grandmother's camera, I remember seeing this side of it fairly regularly as a child.

Sometimes I have to admit, I like a visual pun.
And when shorten or lengthen comes at a point where the pattern stops short, I can't resist.
Charcoal on the simple yellowish color of the pattern paper.

Totally French in feel.
Yellow honeycomb in the background with blue damask taking over the foreground.
A beauty.

Kind of a minimalist piece, the subject is barely poking it's way into the picture plane.
Deep pink on a sort of sunset background.
Warm and fuzzy.
