#1316 is a bit of a popper.  Straight up tangerine, with a blue grey bit of paisley that appears to be almost vibrating on top.  Warm up a little spot!

A swirling flourish in a gray that's almost mauve. The raspberry pink background is scattered with barely visible roses.

A busy piece, with lots of text from a sewing pattern.  Y'know, this piece would pair up nicely with the tree one from a couple of days back...

Go, is part of a block print I made for a big piece called "Goody Two Shoes" and a smaller "Good Girl."  But when you break it half, you get go.  I often imagine where these will end up as I make them, I hope this "Go" becomes a version of Go Girl, and winds up cheering a little girl on somewhere.

Winter trees #1309 (sold)

Cool wintry trees.  The background, or sky in this piece has washes of blue gray with a warm gold.  The subject is the dogwood that grows between the house and the studio.  I see it a lot in the winter, and therefore it makes it's way into my work, a lot.

A splash of barely yellow fireworks across a deep blue sky.
