A little bit of sugar to start your day.  The fancy script is from a piece I've done called "Sugar" and this came from the chemical formula for sucrose that was either on the dress pattern or the background.  Almost purple on a pale green.

The classic deviled egg, in a pretty pure red. The background is a sea foam green, so popular in the 60's. This is going to fit perfectly in a retro kitchen somewhere!

Another run at pure violet, it's one of my favorite colors, but I rarely use it lately.  The petal or leaf pattern is printed on rice paper in a crisp apple green.

These beautiful ruby red leaves look great hanging in any direction.  Printed over a mossy green background accented with a bit of white.

A little calligraphic script in plum layered over a pale green and white background.  Printed on rice paper to keep the white clean.

This piece looks a little muddy on my screen, but in real life it is a soft celery green with the chrysanthemum over printed in an apple green.  Freshy Fresh.

A color I haven't used much in this series.  Straight up violet, but you can expect to see more.  The canvas has a little underpainting going on this time.  Giving it a little extra depth.

This piece reminds me of melons, the color of cantaloupe.  But turn it one time to the right, and it's a sunset, or sunrise, depending on your point of view.

This is a really interesting one, the green color still looks almost liquid, and pools a bit.  The lacy pattern is in off white, printed on a busy piece of dress pattern tissue.

Baa Baa Black Sheep, and all that stuff.  There has been a bit of a color shift on this one, the green background is a mid sorta mossy, sorta olive green.  But the sheep, the sheep is definitely black.  This little baby is $25, just like all the others.

Another version of this beautiful water repeat pattern.  I see waves, you may see mountains?  A pure rich ultramarine blue over a warmer sky blue.  Pretty sweet. Happy Monday!

A funky zinnia in fall colors.  Burnt orange over olive, a pretty combination, even though it does remind be of shag carpet in a scary sort of way.  Enjoy!

A pair of Mary Jane's from a recent version of Goody Two Shoes.  The background is a deep teal, flecked with bits of rice paper.  It's cropped so close, it almost becomes abstract.

A little pop of purple, to see if you are still paying attention, over a gentle grey background.  This is a great piece to put in a composition of cool colors.  A gift for a favorite gardener?

Blah.  Part of the blah blah blah that I have used in the background of a piece titled "Chatterbox." The colors are mauve over an olive green.  With a snappy arrow cutting through the bottom of the composition.  One of my favorites.  Enjoy!

A super graphic piece, white over charcoal grey.  The texture of the rice paper is really pretty.  I haven't used this pattern on one of the full dress pieces yet.  But when I do, you'll see it here!

Two of my favorite colors, deep purple over olive green.  It has a jewel like look, and although I try not to have favorites, this is one.  If this one stays up long, it will be in my personal collection.  That's what I call fair warning.  Enjoy!

A beauty.  Hot pink over a gorgeous coral.  Flecks of rice paper are dotted over the surface.  And it's a geranium, you'll be dreaming of geraniums in the winter.
